Javier Tirado

Javier Tirado has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Javier has been with Matrix Renewables since 2020, initially serving as the Technical Asset Management Director and later taking on the role of Head of Operations EMEA&LATAM. Prior to this, they worked at SMARTENER SL as the Director de Explotación from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they held the position of Asset Management Director at SMARTENER - Gestión de Proyectos Energéticos from 2016 to 2018. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as the Country Manager for SMARTENER - R del Sur. At Alarde Gestión de Proyectos Energéticos, they served as a Project Manager from 2007 to 2012, specializing in renewable energy projects. Earlier in their career, they spent time at Airbus, first as the A350 Costing Manager from 2005 to 2007 and then as the Costing Current Programmes Airbus Spain from 2003 to 2005.

Javier Tirado has an educational background in engineering and renewable energy. Javier completed an Executive Programme in Renewable Energy at Escuela de Organización Industrial in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering and Management from Cranfield University in 2002. In 2001, they graduated from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid with a degree in Industrial Engineering, focusing on Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained a Project Management Professional certification from PMI in July 2014.
