Bruce Sheppard

Bruce Sheppard is an Aucklander descended from a rural Northland family. He enjoys history, economics and politics and generally is an argumentative and challenging thinker.

This makes him an effective negotiator and mediator in resolving disputes and effecting transactions. Bruce co-founded the accounting firm, Gilligan Sheppard, in 1985 and is still running it successfully as its CEO.

In 2001 he set up and chaired the New Zealand Shareholders Association for eleven years. He has been involved in several new and innovative ventures and in 2017, Bruce was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business.
