Huening Tong

Huening Tong is an R&D Associate Engineer at Matrix Sensors since October 2021, previously serving as a Mandarin-English Translator at Nyoibo Studio, Jianlai Limited, where novel translations were performed. Prior to that, Huening held roles as a Product Development Intern at UWC Holdings Sdn Bhd, conducting leakage testing and creating Work Instructions, and as a Campus Ambassador at UC San Diego, leading tours and coordinating events for prospective students. Other relevant experience includes positions as a Resident Assistant, Undergraduate Research Assistant in the AMPS Lab, Senior Orientation Assistant, and Freshman Orientation Leader at UC San Diego. Huening holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Robotics and Controls from UC San Diego, and previously completed Pre-University studies at Sunway College and secondary education at SMJK Hua Lian.
