Michel Chen

Michel Chen is a Scientist I at Matrix Sensors, where responsibilities include advancing material formulation and analyzing prototype measurement readouts for a novel sorption instrument since June 2019. Previously, as a Senior Research Associate, Michel optimized materials synthesis and performance for a commercially viable MOF-based CO2 sensor. Prior experience includes serving as an Administrative Assistant at Panda Trading & Manufacturing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and multiple Research Assistant roles at the University of California San Diego and University of California, Riverside, where work focused on electronic properties of materials and data processing. Michel holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UC San Diego, obtained in 2018.
