Don Mattila

Don Mattila is an experienced exploration geologist with a robust background in geological exploration and project management. Currently serving as an Exploration Geologist at Matrix Solutions since November 2011, Don supervises and mentors others in the field. Prior experience includes a role as an Exploration Geologist and shift supervisor at Norwest Corporation from 2002 to August 2010, where Don managed an exploratory drill program for oil sands reserves. Additionally, Don was a Project Manager at Goldsource Mines Inc. for a brief period in 2009, overseeing an exploratory drill program for coal reserves. Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Alberta, obtained from 1985 to 1990, and a high school diploma from Eckville High.
