Matthew Taylor-Kerr

Matthew Taylor-Kerr has a diverse work experience in various industries. Matthew started as an Education Assistant at Calgary Board of Education in September 2017, where they worked with students with assisted learning plans and facilitated literacy improvement sessions. In the same year, they also joined Various United Churches as a Youth Leader, where they organized and ran social events and Sunday morning programming for youth, managed a budget, reported to committees, and facilitated leadership development for senior high youth group members.

In 2021, Matthew joined ALS Life Sciences as a Laboratory Assistant, where they worked from May to August. Matthew then moved on to TRIUM Environmental Inc. as a Remediation Specialist from September 2021 to September 2022.

Currently, Matthew is working at Matrix Solutions Inc. as an Environmental Scientist, starting in September 2022.

Matthew Taylor-Kerr attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2019 to 2021, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2015, they studied at the University of Calgary and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Development Studies. Additionally, in March 2020, Matthew received certification in Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from the Lifesaving Society Alberta and Northwest Territories.
