Paul Sorek has a diverse work experience. Paul began their career as a Hydrogeologist at Southwest Groundwater Consultants in 1995 and then moved on to work as a Water Quality Data Analyst at the National Park Service in 1999. In 2000, they joined MFG, Inc. as a Senior Hydrogeologist and worked there until 2004. Paul then joined Key Environmental, Inc. in 2004 as a Senior Hydrogeologist before transitioning to Matson Lumber Company in 2005. At Matson Lumber Company, they held various roles including Forestry and Sawmill Manager from 2005 to 2012, President from 2012 to 2019, and finally as the Chief Executive Officer of Matson Industries, Inc. from 2019 to the present. Additionally, in 2019, Paul took on the role of Director of Business Processes at Miller Fabrication Solutions.
Paul Sorek received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geosciences from Franklin and Marshall College, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Paul later pursued a Master's degree in Hydrogeology at Colorado State University from 1999 to 2003.
