Sebastian Pattinson

Sebastian Pattinson is an Associate Professor at the University of Cambridge in the Department of Engineering. Prior to this role, Sebastian was a Co-Founder at Matta. Sebastian also served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Cambridge and an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Sebastian was also a X Moonshot Fellow at X, the moonshot factory, where Sebastian analyzed early pipeline projects. Sebastian holds a Postdoc in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Cambridge, an MPhil in Micro- and Nanotechnology Enterprise from the University of Cambridge, and a BS in Physics with Philosophy from the University of York.
