Alena Niu

Alena Niu, MS, is a seasoned product design professional with extensive experience in the toy industry, currently serving as Director of Product Design at Mattel, Inc. since June 2017. Alena has led design strategies for iconic fashion doll brands, including Monster High, Polly Pocket, and Enchantimals, while managing talented design teams and collaborating with various departments for brand success. Prior to this role, Alena held several positions at Fisher-Price, where responsibilities included leading design for preschool brands and licensed properties. With a strong educational background, including a Master's degree in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design, Alena's expertise encompasses product innovation and brand strategy across multiple markets and licensures.
