Carrie Buse is the Senior Director of Discovery at Mattel's Future Lab, where they lead initiatives to innovate the future of play through artificial intelligence. With nearly 20 years at Mattel, Carrie has significantly impacted the intersection of physical and digital play, contributing to projects like Hello Barbie and Barbie Video Girl. They have also co-created award-winning programming that teaches coding concepts to children through Barbie themes. Prior to their tenure at Mattel, Carrie freelanced as a Producer, Writer, and Content Designer for various companies, including Universal Pictures and Philips Media Games. Carrie holds a BA from Wake Forest University and an MA from UCLA.
