Cynthia Zhang

Cynthia Zhang is an Associate Product Designer at Mattel, Inc. since May 2022, contributing to the Small Dolls IP team by designing and ideating various toy products for Netflix and Universal Studios brands, as well as Mattel Creations. Previously, Cynthia served as a Teaching Assistant at the Rhode Island School of Design, supporting the illustration class on color, Color Works. Experience also includes working as an Illustrator for The Brown Daily Herald, creating illustrations for print and online media, and undertaking freelance illustration projects for White Snake Projects and the United States Heartland China Association. Earlier roles include a Graphic Design and Illustration Intern at Budweiser and design work for the Sharon Art Center. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design.
