Kim Culmone is an accomplished design executive with extensive experience in the toy industry, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Design at Mattel, Inc. since June 1999. Culmone oversees product design for iconic brands such as Barbie, American Girl, Monster High, and Polly Pocket, managing creative strategy and execution for various partnerships, including collaborations with Disney and Warner Brothers. Prior to this role, Culmone held several leadership positions focusing on design strategy and product development for Mattel's fashion dolls. Before joining Mattel, Culmone founded The Design Garage Inc., a textile design studio specializing in fashion and home decor. Culmone earned a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from Louisiana State University and furthered education at FIDM.
