Holly Copeland is an advisory board member at MATTER, a previous company of hers. Holly has also worked with the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, the Chicago Council on Science and Technology (C2ST), Chicago Innovation, The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Shopping.Gives, Horizon, and the State of Illinois, Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity. Holly is experienced in managing a team and has successfully overseen a $144 million portfolio during their time as the Deputy Director of the Office of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, & Technology. In an effort to promote diversity, they have taken part in initiatives that sponsor 300 high school girls to visit Argonne National Lab and launched CreatingIlTalent - a partnership that trains minorities and women how to code.
Holly Copeland has a Master's degree in International Affairs - Political Economy from Washington University in St. Louis, a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield, and a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Illinois Springfield. Holly also has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a minor in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois Springfield.
