Akash Chandrakar is a lead software engineer at Matter Labs since September 2022. Before that, they worked as a principal engineer at G42 from August 2021 to August 2022. From January 2019 to July 2021, they were employed at Google as a software engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon as a software development engineer II from October to December 2018, and as a software development engineer from January 2017 to September 2018. Akash started their career in 2015 as a research and development engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where they worked until January 2017.
Akash Chandrakar completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Raipur, from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Dayanand Anglo Vedic Public School, where they completed their Higher Secondary School education in Mathematics from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Akash has obtained multiple certifications in various subjects, including machine learning, advanced algorithms, object-oriented programming, and data structures, from Coursera. The certifications were obtained between 2016 and 2019.
