Ivan Bogatyy

Ivan Bogatyy currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering and Entrepreneur in Residence at Matter Labs, beginning in December 2023. Prior to this role, Ivan was a Research Partner at Dragonfly Capital from October 2019 to December 2023. Ivan served as a General Partner at MetaStable Capital, a hedge fund focused on cryptocurrency investments, from May 2018 to February 2019. Previous experience includes a position as a Software Engineer at Google from October 2014 to February 2018, specializing in deep learning for natural language understanding, and a Software Developer role at Yandex from October 2011 to September 2014. Additional experience includes an internship at Microsoft Research in 2013 and an IT consultant role at SRG-IT in June 2011. Ivan holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, completed from 2007 to 2012, and furthered education at Stanford University from 2015 to 2017.
