David Christie

David Christie serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Matter Real Estate since May 2021, focusing on value-add and opportunistic investments in real estate across Northern Europe. Prior to this role, David was a Partner and Head of Real Estate at ESO Capital from January 2015 to May 2021, overseeing approximately €500 million in capital deployment. David's earlier experience includes positions as Director at CarVal Investors, Ares Management, and Avestus Real Estate, as well as a role in Real Estate at Doughty Hanson. David holds dual degrees in Property Valuation & Finance from City University Business School and City St George’s, University of London, both obtained between 1992 and 1995.
