Reliability and Flight Assurance Lead at Matternet

Martin Novak has over 40 years of experience in the field of reliability and flight assurance engineering. Martin began their career in 1978 as Test and Reliability Engineering Manager at Allen-Bradley (acquired by Rockwell Intl). In 1985, they moved to TRW-EPI as a Project Reliability Engineer, and then to MiniScribe-Maxtor in 1988 as Director Quality/Sr Reliability Manager. In 2000, they were promoted to Vice President/Executive Director Quality at Maxtor Corporation. In 2006, they joined Flextronics Intl. as Sr. Director Quality & Reliability, and then moved to 2Wire Inc. (acquired by Pace Int. plc) in 2007 as Vice President of Quality. In 2011, they joined Pace (Acquired by ARRIS January 2016) as VP of Quality & Service, and was promoted to Sr. Director Network Customer Business Quality and Reliability at ARRIS in 2016. Martin then moved to ARRIS - Ruckus (now CommScope) in 2018 as Sr. Director Reliability Engineering. In 2019, they joined Matternet Inc. as Reliability and Flight Assurance Lead.

Martin Novak attended the University of Iowa from 1971 to 1973, studying Pre-Dentistry. Martin then attended the University of Montana-Helena from 1976 to 1978, studying Industrial Electronics Technology. Martin also attended Colorado State University, studying Reliability Engineering.
