Ameet Patel

Ameet Patel is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and software engineering. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Cloud Infrastructure Engineering at Matterport since August 2017, Ameet oversees SRE, SecOps, Analytics, and IT initiatives to enhance digital transformation in the built environment. Previous roles include Director of Cloud SRE at Interana, where responsibilities encompassed developing cloud technologies, and Director of DevOps and Support at Skyfire Labs, managing a team to improve mobile Internet experiences. Ameet also has experience as a Systems Engineer at Simply Continuous, IT Manager at Bain & Company, and Systems Administrator Associate at EDS Group. Ameet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
