Lou Marzano

Lou Marzano serves as the Chief Hardware Officer at Matterport since December 2018, overseeing the hardware business and directing teams involved in the design and production of advanced capture devices. Prior to this role, Marzano held various leadership positions at Matterport, including VP of Hardware R&D and Manufacturing, where responsibility included the development of products like the lidar-based Pro3 depth-sensing camera. Previously, Marzano was the Senior Vice President of Engineering & Operations at Bentek Corporation, leading manufacturing plants and enhancing operational efficiency, and has held senior roles in renowned companies like Synaptics and Align Technology, focusing on product development and technology integration. Marzano possesses a BSEE from Santa Clara University and an MBA from the same institution.
