Irene Manning is an experienced professional in the field of language interpretation and community engagement, currently serving as a self-employed Spanish Interpreter since April 2017. Irene has also worked as a Parent Engagement Specialist at the Mattie Rhodes Center since September 2015 and held the position of Bilingual Shelter Advocate at Rose Brooks Center Inc. from January 2012 to April 2017. Prior to these roles, Irene was a Spanish Interpreter at Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center between 2008 and 2012. Irene earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completing the degree between 2009 and 2011.

Mattie Rhodes Center is a nonprofit community development organization dedicated to individual and family wellbeing through social services, behavioral health counseling & the arts. Our staff provides culturally competent programming in the following four areas: Family Services (behavioral health, family violence, substance abuse) Youth Services (in-school intervention, youth development, supportive living) Community Support (health and wellness, community engagement) Cultural Arts (arts education, exhibits and collections)
