Jacob Laufer

Jacob Laufer has a diverse work history starting in 2014 when they worked as a Technical Support Engineer Intern at PTC. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at The Haartz Corporation. Jacob then worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Dynisco from 2017 to 2019. At nVenia, Jacob held the role of Engineering Project Manager & Mechanical Engineer II from 2019 to 2022, where they were responsible for creating mechanical and electrical designs for packaging machines. Jacob's most recent position is at Mochila Fulfillment, where they worked as a Senior Robotics Engineer from 2022 to 2023. In this role, they led the development of a robotic AGV and managed the project from design to completion. Jacob also regularly communicated with senior leadership and stakeholders about the project's progress. Jacob is currently employed as a Senior Instrumentation and Automation Engineer at Mattiq, starting in 2023.

Jacob Laufer completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College in the year 2016. Jacob went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Systems Engineering from Boston University, which they successfully completed in 2021.
