Guy Adam Ailion has a long and varied work experience. Guy Adam is currently the CEO Co-Founder of Mattoboard (Techstars '22). Prior to this, they were a Partner at KSR Architects & Interior Designers from 2011-2019, a Consultant at RealFriend from 2019-2022, a Design Mentor at the Royal College of Art from 2017-2022, and an Evening with Fox&Squirrel - London, Urbanism and the Moving Image at the Victoria and Albert Museum from 2014-2017. Guy Adam also held roles at the London Festival of Architecture from 2012-2017, Stock Woolstencroft from 2010-2011, AngloGold Ashanti from 2010-2011, and Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens Architects from 2007-2010. Additionally, they were the Director and Producer of the award-winning short film "Litshe Le Golide" from 2009-2010.

Guy Adam Ailion completed their education history beginning with King David High School, Linksfield. Guy Adam then attended the University of the Witwatersrand where they obtained their Bachelor of Architecture in 2004-2006. In 2008, they obtained their Honours in Architecture, as well as an Introduction to Property Investment and Finance from the same university. Guy Adam then went on to obtain their Masters of Architecture with Distinction in 2009 from the University of the Witwatersrand.
