Jan Kudela

Jan Kudela is an experienced professional in category management and market insights, currently serving as the Head of Category Management & Insight for Mattoni 1873 in the Czech Republic since June 2023. Responsibilities include overseeing a team focused on category management and commercial insights while adapting group projects to local needs. Previously, Jan held the position of Group Insight Manager, leading the Insight department at an international level and supporting multiple countries. Prior to Mattoni 1873, Jan worked for ALDI Nord as an International Category Manager, emphasizing pricing. Jan's career started at REWE Group, where roles included Shopper Insights Specialist and Marketing Specialist at Penny Market CZ. Jan holds degrees in Management from both Emory University and the Prague University of Economics and Business.
