Oscar Vargas

Oscar Vargas is an experienced production and project manager with a strong background in engineering and energy infrastructure. Currently serving as Production Manager at Mattr since July 2022, Oscar previously held senior roles in both the nuclear and procurement sectors at various companies including Thales and Legrand. Key achievements include leading the preparation of over 1,000 proposals for RFP submissions annually and managing a team in the electrical assembly and commissioning of Tunnel Boring Machines at Global Tunnelling Experts. Oscar holds a Diploma in Business from Seneca Polytechnic, a Master's degree in Energy and Environmental Technology and Economics from City St George’s, University of London, and a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Universidad El Bosque.
