Tobias Looker

Tobias Looker has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tobias began their career as a Senior .Net Developer Contractor at oOh!media in 2017, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of a key business solution. In 2018, they worked as a Consultant in Emerging Technologies at Spark New Zealand. Following this, Tobias joined the University of Auckland as a Research and Development Engineering Contractor, where they played a pivotal role in the development of an Internet of Things (IoT) technology platform for rehabilitation devices. Prior to this, they were an IT Sub-Contractor at WorleyParsons, where they assisted in the development and maintenance of internal and external tools. Additionally, Tobias worked as a Solutions Engineer at Astute Computer Consulting, providing IT support and developing software solutions for clients. Currently, they serve as the Chief Technology Officer at MATTR, a position they have held since March 2021. Throughout their career, Tobias has gained expertise in technical standards architecture, business analysis, software development, firmware development, and project management.

Tobias Looker obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The University of Auckland in 2015. Tobias went on to pursue a Master's degree in the same field at the same university, which they completed in 2016.
