Abbie Beane

Abbie Beane is an accomplished professional in environmental policy and sustainability, currently serving as Principal at Above Ground Environmental, LLC, and Development Director for Sustainable Sports & Entertainment at blue strike environmental since April 2023. Beane has held various significant roles, including Grants Manager and Interim California Program Director for the CA Carpet Stewardship Program and Research Consultant for the Mattress Recycling Council. With extensive leadership experience as Executive Director of the Carmel River Watershed Conservancy and Managing Director at The Offset Project, Beane possesses a strong background in communications and environmental stewardship, supported by a dual Master's degree in International Environmental Policy and Business Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Beane began career as a reporter at The Bulletin from 2005 to 2010, building a solid foundation in environmental advocacy and policy development.
