John Kirkum

John Kirkum is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Director at Mattressman since March 2018. Prior to this role, John held the position of Finance Director at Multiyork Furniture Limited, where responsibilities included oversight of Finance, IT, HR, Payroll, and Health and Safety, alongside providing commercial support. Previous roles include Divisional Finance Director and Finance Director & Company Secretary at Notcutts Nurseries and John Woods Nurseries, as well as Business Unit Controller at Bosch Lawn & Garden. John began their career as a Cost Accountant at B/E Aerospace and Universal Flavors, among others. A qualified Associate member of CIMA since 1995, John later became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
