Mel Warner-Taylor possesses extensive experience in customer experience and operational management within the retail sector. Currently serving as Head of Customer Experience at Mattressman since February 2024, Mel previously held the role of Head of Visitor Operations at Sainsbury Centre from June 2022 to February 2024. Prior experience includes working as Retail Area Manager at East Anglia's Children's Hospices, and serving as Associate Business Mentor and Business Mentor at Pinnacle People. Mel's tenure at Mattressman as General Manager spanned from May 2017 to April 2019, and a significant period was dedicated to John Lewis as Retail Manager from August 1990 to May 2017, including a role as Proprietor of Riverside Retreat Coffee Bar and Leisure Centre. Mel's educational background includes attendance at Casterton Community College.

We take our customers’ sleep very seriously and as Britain’s biggest mattress specialist, we take pride in offering only the very best mattresses, bed frames, divans, ottomans and bedroom furniture. We also have something to suit every budget. After all, we believe that everyone deserves to get the best sleep possible! We are extremely proud to have a team of sleep experts in every one of our retail outlets, providing not on the best advice but also making our customers’ journey to the land of Nod as easy as counting sheep. We have a factory on-site where we employ a skilled team of craftspeople to manufacture hundreds of all-British mattresses every day, along with a fleet of delivery vehicles and drivers who take pride in delivering to all of our customers with care, all on a free next-working-day service.
