Songjae Lee has over 30 years of work experience. Songjae started their career as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, where they worked on feedback control systems and developed various robotic systems. Songjae then joined Applied Materials as a Technical Staff member and worked there for over a decade. After that, they worked as a Principal Engineer at Synos Technologies and later joined Veeco as a Principal Engineer, where they designed and developed ALD systems for OLED/Display and semiconductor applications. In 2016, Lee joined Kateeva as a Staff Mechanical Engineer, where they led the development of inkjet print deposition/pattern process modules and RGB OLED pattern curing chambers. Currently, they are working at Mattson Technology as a Director of Engineering.
Songjae Lee received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Guidance, navigation, and feedback Control of articulated body mobile robot from North Carolina State University from 1991 to 1999.
