Cole Slater

Cole Slater brings extensive experience in jewelry design and environmental science, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and previously as Executive Vice President and Vice President of Design and Manufacturing at Maui Divers Jewelry since December 2009. This company specializes in fine Hawaiian and contemporary jewelry, focusing on sustainably harvested black coral and pearls. Prior to this, Cole worked as a Designer and Environmental Scientist at CH2M HILL, where the emphasis was on creating aesthetically pleasing habitat parks and stormwater wetlands, and as a Foreman at Jack George and Associates, where the focus was on constructing waterfalls. Cole holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Cartography and Sculpture from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, complemented by an education from Punahou School.
