Assil BENCHAABEN

Assil BENCHAABEN has a diverse work experience in the field of image analysis and computer vision. They started their career as a Stage de technicien de maintenance at Hôpital d’enfant - Tunis in 2009. Later, they worked as an R&D Engineer at INSERM in 2013. In 2014, they joined Med Imaps as a Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer, followed by a role as a Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer at Histalim, the histology services company. In 2018, Assil joined HalioDx as a Scientist Image Analysis R&D and then moved on to work at Veracyte, Inc. in 2021 with the same role. Currently, Assil is working as a Data Scientist at Mauna Kea Technologies since 2023.

In 2007-2010, Assil completed a License appliquée en Génie Biomédical (GBM) focused on Imagerie Médicale at the Institut Supérieur de Technologie Médicale de Tunis.

From 2011 to 2013, Assil pursued a Master 2 in Signal, Imagerie et Application (SIA) with a specialization in Imagerie Médicale at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.

Finally, in 2013-2014, Assil obtained a Master's degree in Informatique, specializing in Image & Multimédia from Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III).
