David Perez

David Perez has extensive work experience in the software engineering field, with specialization in Android development.

David is currently employed at Maven Clinic as a Senior Software Engineer, Android, starting in 2023.

Prior to that, they worked at Lyft from 2018 to 2022. At Lyft, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer, Android, where they were responsible for developing AB tested features for the Lyft Rider app. David also served as the technical lead for the team and was instrumental in developing a server-driven UI platform for the matching and in-ride user experience.

Before joining Lyft, David worked at Pandora from 2015 to 2018. David served as a Senior Software Engineer, Android, and was involved in developing new listener-facing features for ad-supported users on the ads platform team. David was also responsible for conducting technical phone screens and onsite interviews for new candidates as part of the Android interviewing team.

Prior to Pandora, David worked at Intelity from 2013 to 2015 as an Android Developer. In this role, they developed Android apps for hotels and built a new room controls server in Go, which included integrations with third-party hotel vendors.

David started their career at Highwinds in 2011 as a Software Engineer, before moving on to Harris Corporation in 2010 as a Software Engineer I. David also gained experience as an Intern Developer at Shoppers Critique International from 2008 to 2009.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in Android development, product engineering, technical leadership, and conducting technical interviews.

David Perez attended the University of Central Florida from 2005 to 2010. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
