Dawn Godbolt

Dawn Godbolt, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of health equity and policy. Dawn is currently working as the Director of Health Equity at Maven Clinic since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Policy Director at the National Birth Equity Collaborative from June 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining the National Birth Equity Collaborative, Dawn worked at the National Partnership for Women & Families where they held multiple roles. Dawn was a Senior Manager for Maternal Health Initiatives from January 2020 to June 2020, a Health Policy Analyst from July 2019 to May 2020, and a Health Program Associate from October 2017 to July 2019.

Additionally, Dawn was a Health Equity Fellow at the Center for Global Policy Solutions from February 2017 to September 2017. Prior to that, they gained experience as an Instructor Research Assistant at Florida State University from August 2012 to May 2017. Their earlier work experience includes serving as an Intake Program Assistant at Commonwealth Catholic Charities from October 2010 to May 2012.

Dawn Godbolt, Ph.D. earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University between 2010 and 2012. Dawn then pursued their Master's Degree in Sociology at Florida State University, completing it from 2012 to 2014. Dawn's educational journey continued at Florida State University, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Sociology from 2012 to 2017.
