Elizabeth Chan

Elizabeth Chan has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Elizabeth is currently working at Maven Clinic as a Senior Software Engineer, starting from April 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Software Engineer III at Maven Clinic from April 2022 to April 2023, and Software Engineer II from July 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Maven Clinic, Elizabeth worked as a Software Engineer at Givewith from July 2019 to July 2021.

Elizabeth also gained valuable experience as a Web Development Intern at Rhino in June 2018, where they worked closely with the CTO and customer-success team to improve functionality and developed responsive front-end web solutions. Elizabeth utilized Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Haml, SCSS, and ReactJS for these projects.

In addition, Elizabeth has a teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Kode With Klossy. Elizabeth taught introductory web development courses to young women and collaborated with instructors to expand the curriculum. Elizabeth Chan attended Bryn Mawr College from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science. In 2017, they also briefly studied at King's College London, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
