Janine Love

Janine Love has over six years of work experience in the technology industry. Janine currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Maven Clinic, where they joined in September 2021 as a Frontend Engineer III before being promoted to their current role.

Prior to Maven Clinic, Janine worked at BitSight for four years. Janine started as a Software Engineer in June 2017 and was later promoted to the position of Senior Software Engineer in October 2020. In this role, they led a team of four engineers, overseeing project planning, architectural design, and code review. Their notable achievement at BitSight was building a React frontend and Flask backend premium add-on feature that integrated with a partner cyber risk modeling company based in Tel Aviv, assisting customers in understanding the Financial Quantification of their cybersecurity risk.

Before joining BitSight, Janine gained experience as a Computer Science and Discrete Math TA at the University of Pittsburgh. Janine also had an internship at Success Academy Charter Schools, where they worked in the field of Data Science and Information Systems.

Janine Love began their education at Western Guilford High School, where they graduated in 2007. Janine then went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2007 to 2011, earning a Bachelor's degree. In 2014, they pursued further education at the Community College of Allegheny County, focusing on Computer Science coursework. In 2015, Janine enrolled at Duquesne University, studying Computational Mathematics and earning a degree in that field. Later in 2015, they also attended the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied Computer Science.
