Chris Hunter

Chris Hunter has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Chris is currently the Head of Growth at The Arena Group since 2024. Before that, they worked as the VP, Media at The Arena Group from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Global Strategy & Business Development at IBM's The Weather Channel from 2019 to 2022. Chris also worked as the Executive Director and Head of Client & Advertising Solutions at IHS Markit's Markit Digital from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they held the role of Advisor at Trade It, Inc., a TradingView company from 2013 to 2018. Chris was also the VP of Digital Strategy & Corporate Development at USA TODAY Sports Media Group from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they held various positions at Yahoo!, including General Manager of Yahoo! Finance from 2011 to 2013 and Head of Business Development from 2007 to 2011. Chris began their career as a Business & Sales Development Manager at Yahoo! Finance from 2003 to 2006 and as an Advertising Account Manager and Associate Financial Analyst at The Motley Fool from 1999 to 2003.

Chris Hunter earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance and Economics from William & Mary from 1995 to 1999. In addition, Chris obtained certifications in Marketing Foundations from The Trade Desk and as a Cognitive AI Practitioner from IBM in 2020 and 2019, respectively.
