David Famolari has extensive work experience in the venture capital industry. David began their career in 2011 as a Partner at Day2 Ventures. In 2015, they became a Board Observer at PrecisionHawk. In 2016, they became a Board Observer at Beamr. In 2017, they became a Board Observer at DroneBase and Managing Director at Hearst Ventures. In 2019, they became a Board Observer at SparkCognition and FreightWaves. In 2020, they became a Board Director at Maven Machines. In 2021, they became a Board Director at ShotTracker Inc. and Board Observer at Robotic Skies.
David Famolari earned their MBA from The Wharton School between 2008 and 2010, with a focus in entrepreneurship and finance. David also attended The Wharton School's Mergers & Acquisitions Executive Program in 2011. David completed Ph.D. coursework in electrical engineering at Columbia Engineering, and attended the Shaping Innovation Leaders program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. David holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.
