Kevin Alex Baker, SPHR

Kevin Alex Baker, SPHR has over 18 years of experience in the Human Resources field. Kevin began their career in 2001 as a Director and Producer's Assistant at Deuce Three Productions. In 2003, they joined ING Direct (acquired by Capital One) as a Sales Associate, and worked their way up to HRBP, Recruiting, Learning and Development. In 2013, they became the Director, Training and Recruiting at ZenBanx (acquired by SoFi). In 2014, they joined LendingHome as the Director, People Operations where they managed all aspects of hiring through hyper-growth. In 2016, they moved to Aquent as the Managing Director, Financial Services, directing learning for recruiting and sales teams in financial services. Most recently, in 2018, they joined Maven Recruiting Group as their first Vice President, People Operations, leading expansion into multiple markets and later pivoting to an all-remote workforce. Kevin owns all aspects of people operations including internal recruiting, learning & development, workforce planning strategy, performance management, total rewards, leadership development and software implementation. During the COVID lockdown, they also led the team's remote transformation, including reimagined workflows, sync structure and culture events.

Kevin Alex Baker, SPHR, obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Chapman University. Kevin also has a certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they obtained in November 2015.
