Michael Kinnavy

Michael Kinnavy is an experienced leader in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Vice President of Systems Engineering for 5G at Mavenir since January 2021. Prior to this role, Kinnavy held key positions at Nokia from April 2011 to January 2021, including Head of Global 5G R&D and Head of Small Cell R&D. Responsibilities at Nokia involved leading product development for 5G and LTE technologies. Kinnavy's career began at Motorola from January 1997 to September 2011, where roles included Engineering Director and Engineering Resource Manager, overseeing the development of LTE base stations and managing substantial engineering resources. Kinnavy holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Management from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University.
