Sween J. Ambat

Sween J. Ambat is an experienced telecommunications professional currently serving as the Director of RAN Operations at Mavenir since March 2020, focusing on the design and deployment of 5G cloud-native RAN solutions. Prior to this role, Sween held the position of Program Manager at Verveba Telecom, managing the rollout of the FirstNet LTE network for AT&T. Sween's earlier career at Ericsson spanned over a decade, where responsibilities included project management of infrastructure modernization and the delivery of over 46,000 carriers, resulting in significant cost controls and revenue generation. Sween began a career in engineering with roles at Nortel and Lucent Technologies, and holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from SMU Cox School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Mumbai.
