Leo Giertz

Leo Giertz has extensive experience in the technology and investment sectors, currently serving as an advisor and investor for Mavenoid, Ingrid, and Mentimeter since 2014, 2015, and 2018, respectively. Giertz was a General Partner at Icebreaker.vc from April 2019 to September 2023 and worked as an independent consultant and advisor for early-stage companies from 2015 to 2019. Previous entrepreneurial roles include co-founding Vint and Wrapp, and founding Barefoot Hackers AB, where Giertz was also CEO. Early career highlights include a position as an "iPhone guy" at Bambuser and a software engineer role at LucidEra. Giertz holds a degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, completed between 2002 and 2007, and has a foundational education from Saltsjöbadens Samskola and Duvnäs Skola.
