Nubia Tamayo Flores is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in hedge fund accounting, currently serving as Hedge Fund Accounting Controller and Assistant Controller at Maverick Capital since January 2013. With a strong background in fund operations, compliance, and reporting, Nubia has supervised successful transitions to new fund administrators, automated internal reporting processes, and managed annual GAAP financial statement preparations. Previous roles included Senior Hedge Fund Accountant and Hedge Fund Accountant at Maverick Capital, as well as Assurance Associate at PwC and Tax Associate at George Evans, CPA. Nubia holds a Master's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas McCombs School of Business.
