Mahdi Razavi has a diverse range of work experience in the field of reservoir engineering. Mahdi'smost recent position was as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Maverick Natural Resources, where they were involved in nitrogen and CO2 miscible flood surveillance and management. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at DNO ASA, where they focused on field development plans and well concept design.
Before joining Maverick Natural Resources and DNO ASA, Mahdi Razavi worked as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Streamsim Technologies, where they provided reservoir engineering consultancy for waterflood and CO2 injection projects. Mahdi also built simulation/surveillance models for mature waterflood fields.
Earlier in their career, Mahdi Razavi was a Reservoir Engineer at Schlumberger, where they managed solvent floods using streamlines simulation and worked on polymer applications and hydraulic fracture modeling. Mahdi also held the role of Production and Simulation Champion, providing workflow consultancy, introducing new technologies, and contributing to business development for the SIS division.
Mahdi Razavi's work experience also includes roles as a Petroleum Engineer at Eni, where they focused on well test interpretation and design, well performance, and production data reporting. Mahdi started their career as a Reservoir Engineer at Kish Petroleum Engineering Company, where they worked on drilling and workover reports, well and sector modeling, and rock type determination.
Mahdi Razavi's early experience in the petroleum industry includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Petroleum University of Technology, where they worked on various projects related to PVT correlations, in-situ combustion, and micro-modeling in fractured reservoirs.
Mahdi Razavi holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Reservoir Engineering from the University of Tehran. Mahdi'sundergraduate studies were completed at the Petroleum University of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum Engineering.
