Eric Chan

Eric Chan has had a diverse range of work experience. Eric started their career as an Accountant/Internal Auditor at First American Title Insurance Company of New York in 1992. Eric then worked as a Senior Accountant at Robert Plan Corp from 1995 to 1998. Eric then joined Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Audit Manager in 1998 and stayed with the company until 2006. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as an Adjunct Professor/Lecturer of Accounting at Baruch College. Eric then became the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Altpoint Capital Partners from 2006 to 2017. In 2010, they started working as an Adjunct Professor/Lecturer of Accounting at Molloy College. Since 2017, Eric has been operating their own company EC Consulting LLC where they serve as the Managing Member, assisting start-up companies with corporate structuring and providing financial reporting and compliance support. In 2018, they also took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at MMPS and Affiliates. Overall, Eric Chan has extensive experience in finance, accounting, auditing, and teaching.

Eric Chan began their education in 1989 at George Mason University, where they studied Accounting. Eric then attended Hofstra University from 1991 to 1993, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting. Eric further pursued their education at LIU Post from 1995 to 1998, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Tax. In terms of certifications, Eric Chan is a Certified Public Accountant accredited by the New York State, and they also hold the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation.
