Lilian Kahuthu has a wealth of professional experience. Lilian began their career in 2015 as a Finance Assistant at Kenmuches Limited, where they prepared and reported monthly financial accounts and management reports, compiled and analyzed sales and profit data, and prepared and monitored budgets. In 2017, they joined Penplan Services Limited as a Pensions Consultant, where they conducted extensive strategic and investment analysis, evaluated scheme processes, identified and implemented more effective systems, and prepared and facilitated investment and strategic planning and development training workshops for Board of Trustees. Most recently, in 2021, they began working at Mavuno Technologies as a Program Manager and Executive Assistant Finance & Control. In this role, they are responsible for determining and defining the Kenyan market entry strategy to create a 1 million euro business by 2025, preparing budgets, and tracking project costs to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met within the set budget constraints.
Lilian Kahuthu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General from Strathmore University between 2011 and 2015. Lilian then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the same institution, which they completed in 2017. Subsequently, they obtained a Msc. Corporate Financial Management from GISMA Business School. Additionally, Lilian Kahuthu holds a Certified Investment and Financial Analyst certification from The Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA).
