Shimaa Alwadie

Shimaa Alwadie is an accomplished leader and advocate for female empowerment in engineering and volunteerism. As the Female Club President and Founder of the Industrial & Systems Engineering Club at King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, Shimaa initiated a platform for female students in the field. Shimaa also serves as Co-Founder and leader of Qomrah Team, focusing on raising awareness about volunteerism, and has founded and leads the ISEC organization. Additional roles include participation as a Jeel Tamooh fellowship member at Boston Consulting Group, a Young Leader Advisory Board member at YLAB, and as an Event Design Leader for TEDxKFUPM. Shimaa's commitment extends to various volunteer and leadership positions, including directing social media for a petroleum podcast and serving as an ambassador for the Engineering Localization Association. Educated in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Shimaa has also pursued a Nanodegree in AI for business from Udacity.
