Katie Demaio

Katie DeMaio is an experienced occupational therapist currently employed at Upwards Therapy and Shady Knoll Health Care, positions held since October 2018 and January 2017, respectively. In addition to clinical roles, Katie is a Certified AromaTouch Technique practitioner, trained to apply essential oils for nervous system balance. Katie's diverse experience includes serving with Max Restaurant Group since July 2015, where responsibilities encompass providing exceptional customer service and managing fine dining operations. Educationally, Katie holds a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Bay Path University and a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Occupational Therapy Studies, also from Bay Path University. Additional training includes time at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Prior clinical experience involves Level II and Level I fieldwork, focusing on patient evaluation, treatment, and managing therapeutic group activities in various healthcare settings.
