John then moved on to Motorola in 1991, where they worked as a Senior Equipment Engineer, overseeing thin film deposition equipment engineering and managing projects for new product introduction and capacity ramp. In 1995, they worked as a Project Engineer at Sematech.
In 1998, Jarvis joined Siemens as a Senior Equipment Engineer, focusing on thin film deposition equipment engineering and factory shutdown projects. John then worked at Infineon Technologies as a Maintenance Engineer, handling chemical vapor deposition, physical vapor deposition, and epitaxy equipment maintenance, as well as equipment installation projects.
In 2000, Jarvis joined Atmel Corporation as a Technical Shift Manager and Senior Principal Equipment Engineer. John was responsible for process and maintenance technician management, as well as equipment project engineering for factory start-up, ramp, and shutdown. John specialized in thin film deposition and rapid thermal processing equipment engineering.
In 2008, Jarvis became self-employed as an Engineer before joining Durham Scientific Crystals in 2009. John worked as an Engineer, focusing on various engineering tasks. In 2014, they joined Welwyn Components as a Process Engineer, primarily focusing on process engineering. Later that year, they moved to The MAX Group - MAX I.E.G. LLC as a Project Manager, responsible for managing projects.
Overall, John Jarvis has a diverse range of engineering experience with expertise in thin film deposition equipment engineering, process engineering, and equipment project management.
