Jacob Schlawitz

Jacob Schlawitz is an experienced executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Max Matthiessen since October 2020. Prior to this role, Jacob held various leadership positions at Aon from 2006 to October 2020, including CEO of Aon Nordic and CEO of Sweden. Jacob also served as Head of Business Area Insurance at IKANO from January 2003 to November 2006, overseeing multiple reinsurance companies with a combined turnover of Euro 90 million per year. Earlier in career, Jacob was the Deputy CEO for Central and Eastern Europe at Credit Suisse Life and Pension, responsible for sales, marketing, M&A, and product development. Jacob's experience also includes a role as Vice President at Winterthur Group, where responsibilities included sales and client relationships in the Nordics. Jacob's educational background includes studies at Northwestern University and Odense University, with an undergraduate focus on Mathematics and Physics from HAG.
