Sean Coveleski

VP, Chief Development Officer at Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience

Sean Coveleski joined MPFI in November of 2020. In his role, Sean oversees the advancement and philanthropic activities in addition to being part of the management team of the Institute.

Prior to joining MPFI, Sean served as Senior Director of Corporate Engagement and Senior Regional Director of Planned and Major Giving at Shriners Hospitals for Children. In those roles, he developed and led the corporate giving program, and worked across the country helping dedicated supporters accomplish their philanthropic goals. During his tenure, Shriners Hospitals for Children saw significant increases in corporate giving, major and planned gifts, and new partnership development.

Sean began his professional career in law. He worked at multiple law offices in the Tampa Bay area and interned at the Governor’s Office and the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit before starting his career in Advancement.

Sean earned his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and Bachelors of Arts in Mass Communication and Leadership Studies from West Virginia University.
